GRAY HUANG
Gray Lianghui Huang (Cantonese: Gray Wong Leung-fai) is a transdisciplinary artist-scholar and singer-songwriter based in upstate New York. He is currently a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature at SUNY Binghamton. His research explores media aesthetics, film phenomenology, queer sound and listening, as well as queer world cinema & TV.
He is also a jazz vocalist and multilingual singer-songwriter (Cantonese, Mandarin, English, and French). As a reality TV talent show winner and finalist, he performed in top-tier Chinese TV singing shows Come Sing With Me III and The Coming One II. His performances span across New York, Hong Kong SAR, mainland China, and Vietnam.
